Biography of Chris howell
Co-Producer
Public Service Executive, Chief Financial Officer and Native American Arts liaison for the State of Kansas Arts Commission. Mr. Howell serves as the Kansas Arts Commission’s liaison to the four resident tribes of Kansas. The Prairie Band Potawatomi, The Iowa Tribe of Kansas, the Sac and Fox Nation of Missouri and the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas. Mr. Howell also works closely with the Kansas American Indian Arts Council and the Kansas Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commission.
Liaison duties include promotion of Native American cultural tourism in the State of Kansas, and to promote positive images of Native Americans. Other duties include promotion of historically and culturally correct education and arts education programs/projects about Native American tribes and the tribes located in the State of Kansas.
Mr. Howell also provides technical assistance to promote the Native American arts industry in Kansas and the impact of the Native American Arts industry on economic development in the State of Kansas.
